InvoiceAce is designed to keep your billing data on your device. This page outlines exactly what information we do and do not touch so you can use the generator with confidence.
TL;DR: We do not store your invoices, clients, or payment data. The only information we see is anonymous, aggregated analytics on our marketing pages plus AdSense performance data.

1. Introduction

Welcome to InvoiceAce ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our website and invoice generator (the "Service").
Core principle: InvoiceAce is a client-side application. Everything you enter stays inside your browser unless you choose to share it.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, view, or have access to the personal or business information you type into the generator. This includes:
  • Your name, company name, address, or contact details.
  • Your clients' names, business details, or contact information.
  • Invoice numbers, dates, line items, rates, amounts, or payment terms.
  • Any banking or payment information.

3. Data We Collect (Analytics)

To understand usage trends and keep improving the product, we use Google Analytics on our marketing pages. Google Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated data including:
  • Page views and popular routes.
  • High-level traffic volumes (visits per day/week).
  • Approximate region (country/city) and device type.
  • Browser/OS version to detect compatibility issues.
Google Analytics may use cookies to collect this information. This data cannot identify you personally and never contains invoice content. We use it only to keep the site fast and reliable. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. How Your Data is Stored

Invoice data lives inside your browser's local storage:
  • Local only: Data never touches our servers.
  • Device specific: Invoices are available only on the device/browser where you created them.
  • Full control: Clear your browser cache/local storage to remove every invoice instantly.
  • No recovery: Because we never see your invoices, we cannot restore deleted data.

5. Advertising and Cookies

We display Google AdSense ads on informational pages such as the homepage and blog. Ads never appear in the editor. When ads load, Google may place cookies to personalize or measure performance.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits.
  • The DoubleClick cookie lets Google and partners show ads based on visits to InvoiceAce and other sites.
  • Opt out anytime via Google Ads Settings or industry tools such as NAI Opt-Out.

6. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because we do not process identifiable invoice data, your rights mainly relate to the analytics and advertising described above plus the data stored on your device. You can:
  • Access: Open the generator to view every invoice saved in your browser.
  • Delete: Clear your browser storage to remove invoices instantly.
  • Opt out: Disable personalized ads through the links above or your browser settings.
